This virgin carbide drill bit will create a 1/4" hole in glass, ceramic tile, and other hard materials.

It is perfect for drilling holes in glass bottles and jugs to create interesting lamps or terrariums.

If you want to make larger holes, such as 1/2", I highly recommend that you start the hole with this smaller 1/4" bit, then work up to the 1/2" size. It goes much smoother this way.
